Money in politics making news
The Democracy Campaign’s report on the alcohol industry’s campaign contributions was the subject of television news stories in Madison, Milwaukee and La Crosse. In every case, local legislators interviewed for the stories insisted the donations have no influence over them.

Word of the state Government Accountability Board's approval of a new rule supported by the Democracy Campaign requiring disclosure of corporate election spending went out over the Associated Press state news wire as well as the Wisconsin Radio Network statewide news service.
