Rep. Hintz was first elected in 2006. He was unopposed in the primary and faced Republican opposition in the general election. The Human Rights League ($21), NARAL Pro-Choice WI ($57), Planned Parenthood Advocates of WI ($137) and WEAC ($26,120) made independent expenditures favoring Rep. Hintz. WI Hospitals ($964) and WI Right to Life ($131) made independent expenditures supporting his opponent. All Children Matter, WI Family Action and WI Manufacturers & Commerce spent undisclosed amounts on "issue ads" in opposition. to Rep. Hintz. |
