Representative Ripp was first elected to the Assembly in 2008. He won a four-way primary and faced Democratic and Independent opposition in the general election. NRA Political Victory Fund ($545), Volunteers for Agriculture ($997) and Wisconsin Right to Life PAC ($489) made independent expenditures favoring Representative Ripp. Advancing Wisconsin ($5,736), Greater Wisconsin Committee PAC ($48,707), MTI Voters ($1,305), Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin ($1,157), Planned Parenthood Votes ($476), WEAC PAC ($513,132) and Wisconsin Professional Police Assocation ($10,785) made independent expenditures supporting his Democratic opponent. All Children Matter, Coalition for America's Families and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce spent undisclosed amounts on "issue ads" supporting Representative Ripp. |
