* Rep. Harsdorf was first elected to the Assembly in 1988 and after a two year retirement was first elected to the Senate in 2000.

* She was unopposed in the primary and faced a Democratic incumbent and an Independent challenger in the general election.

* Building a Better WI ($2,012), Concerned Business & Industry ($6,666), Volunteers for Agriculture ($143,153), WI Hunters’ Assn ($581) and WI Right to Life ($1,282) made independent expenditures benefiting Harsdorf.
