This is the second corporation created by the American Federation for Children, a Washington D.C.-based group that supports school vouchers, to make independent expenditures in Wisconsin elections. By the time this entity had filed an oath of independent disbursements with the Government Accountability Board its affiliate, the American Federation for Children Action Fund IE Committee, had already spent substantial sums to influence primary races in special elections in the 21st and 69th Assembly Districts.
During the 2012 fall elections this corporation transferred $380,000 to the American Federation for Children Action Fund IE Committee to spend on outside electioneering activities rather than make its own independent expenditures.
This organization reported no spending in the special elections. All spending was done by the American Federation for Children Action Fund IE Committee.
Last active election: 2012
This organization is registered with the Government Accountability Board following the January 2010 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United v. FEC as a corporation making independent disbursements.
