This is an independent expenditure committee created by Citizen Action of Wisconsin to sponsor electioneering activities to support Democrats in legislative and statewide elections. Citizen Action is a coalition of labor, senior citizen, environmental, civil rights and other organizations. Between 2010 and 2016, the group spent about $235,000 on independent expenditures.
Citizen Action filed paperwork in late October 2016 showing it paid for mailings, digital ads and staff support for Democratic candidates Jack Redmond and Howard White in the 21st and 68th Assembly District races, respectively, as well as electioneering activities against their opponents, incumbent GOP Reps. Jessie Rodriguez, of Oak Creek, and Kathy Bernier, of Chippewa Falls.

This organization is registered with the Government Accountability Board/Wisconsin Ethics Commission as an independent expenditure committee following the January 2010 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United v. FEC.
