This political action committee (PAC) is run by a regional division of the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), the state's largest teacher's union. The PAC was formerly known as Northwest United Educators.
About a month after the 10th Senate District special election the PAC reported spending in favor of Democrat Patty Schachtner, who defeated GOP Rep. Adam Jarchow for the northwestern Wisconsin seat formerly held by longtime Republican Sen. Sheila Harsdorf. Harsdorf resigned in December to become GOP Gov. Scott Walker's agriculture secretary.
