Fall: OathSpending

This Milwaukee-based organization was created in 2015 and doled out about $31,000 in 2016 in Democratic primaries in four Milwaukee-area legislative races.  The group's website indicates it's interested in education, job creation, health care and crime issues.

About a week before the August 14 primary, the organization reported spending on flyers and online advertising supporting Milwaukee Democrats Kalan Haywood and Josh Zepnick in their respective primaries. You can see the flyers for Haywood here, here and here, and those for Zepnick here and here.

Last active election: 2016

This organization is an unregistered independent expenditure committee that is required to report any such spending done within 60 days of a primary or an election to the Wisconsin Ethics Commission per Chapter 11, Subchapter X of Wisconsin Statutes.
