In a week the People’s Legislature will assemble again. In 2005 over 1,100 people came together on a weekday right after the holidays. If even a healthy fraction of that number storm the Capitol next Tuesday, volumes of blunt truth will be spoken to entrenched power – 15 words at a time – and we will collectively deliver an unmistakable message to the Lobbyists’ Legislature: Stop the partisan bickering. Stop using the state budget as a fundraising tool. Stop playing games, do your job and finish the budget. Then stop stonewalling campaign finance reform, clean up your act and give us our democracy back.

Bring a pot or pan to bang. Bring 15 of the most powerful words you can think of. And bring friends.

We need your help between now and next Tuesday. Please help us reach as many people as possible with information about the Storm for Reform.
