No discipline recommended for Gableman’s misleading TV ad
A three-judge panel yesterday recommended to the state Supreme Court that judicial misconduct charges against Justice Michael Gableman be dismissed.
Updated campaign finance profiles for office holders posted on wisdc.org
New profiles for every Wisconsin legislator elected in 2008 showing their sources of campaign support were posted this week on wisdc.org. Also just added are campaign finance profiles for the winners of this spring’s major nonpartisan elections.
Date for Impartial Justice signing not yet set
No word yet on when Governor Jim Doyle plans to sign the Impartial Justice bill establishing publicly financed state Supreme Court elections. If you have not yet been able to respond to Wednesday’s E-Lert and call Governor Doyle’s office to urge him to sign the bill into law as he has said he will do, please take a minute to make that call.
