Candidates quizzed on good government issues
The Democracy Campaign joined the state League of Women Voters and Common Cause in calling on those seeking state office to say where they stand on issues central to honest, accountable government in a questionnaire sent this week to all candidates.
The Democracy Campaign worked with the other two groups to develop questions 1, 3, 5 and 7 on the candidate survey.
We had a full house for yesterday’s educational forum on redistricting at the State Capitol. The statewide public affairs network WisconsinEye was there to televise the four-hour teach-in.
UW poll contains bad news for both major parties
Our latest Big Money Blog looks at something that wasn’t reported widely in the media, namely the latest polling done by the University of Wisconsin Survey Center that sheds light on the mood of the state’s electorate. It should make the political class shudder. Not that it will.
