WDC files complaint over undisclosed election spending
The Democracy Campaign filed a complaint today with the state Government Accountability Board alleging that a deep-pocketed group that advocates across the country for private school voucher programs violated campaign finance disclosure laws by failing to report more than $2 million it spent in Wisconsin in 2012 to support state candidates and influence elections.
A front-page story in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel late last week provides more details about the group and campaign activities in question.

Another black eye for embattled job creation agency
So Wisconsin’s new semi-private job creation office has a habit of losing track of taxpayer money. Then it gets ripped in an audit for not following state law and assorted other missteps. Can’t seem to create a job to save its life. Decides to hire a PR guy to help repair its battered public image. Turns out the PR guy has a habit of not paying his taxes.
