Senate panel to hold hearing Wednesday on ‘More Money in Politics' bill
A state Senate committee has scheduled a public hearing for this Wednesday on legislation that already passed the Assembly in June on a bipartisan voice vote that would double Wisconsin’s current limits on campaign contributions.
Word is some Senate Democrats are showing willingness to join with majority Republicans to support the bill.
Exactly one week before the celebration of the birth of the one who threw the money changers out of the temple, senators will be taking a step toward blessing even more money changing in the people’s temple. Wisconsin is not the only place this is happening. Legislatures across the country are passing this kind of legislation, including our neighbors to the west and east.
Wisconsin gets ‘F’ for judicial financial disclosure
