Corporation for the purpose of making independent expenditures sponsored by Progressive Kick, a California based 527 organization. Progressive Kick supports "progressive" candidates at the national and state level primarily through fundraising activities, often in coordination with other organizations such as ActBlue and EMILY's List.
The committee raised money for EMILY's List use in the 2011 recall elections and raised $20,000 the Democratic Party of Wisconsin used for recall petition expenses in spring 2011, but it did not report making any independent expenditures itself.
This organization is registered with the Government Accountability Board following the January 2010 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United v. FEC as a corporation making independent disbursements.
