This PAC is run by a branch of the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) the union that represents public school teachers, educational support personnel, technical college employees, and student teachers in Wisconsin. WEAC Region 7 covers southeastern Wisconsin. This is the first time this group has reported independent expenditures in the time the Democracy Campaign has been tracking them.
In late October 2018 the PAC reported spending on phone banks to support Democrat Tony Evers in his successful bid to deny incumbent Republican Gov. Scott Walker a third term as governor.
In January 2019, two months after the election, it reported spending on phone banks to support the Democratic candidate in the 21st Assembly District.
