When hundreds of us marched yesterday to protest the U.S. Supreme Court's assault on our democracy with its ruling on election financing in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, we were giving voice to anger and frustration that is felt by an overwhelming majority of Americans.
A new Washington Post-ABC News poll shows that opposition to the court's decision runs very deep and is very broad, cutting sharply across party lines.
Two other polls we mentioned in one of our recent E-Lerts showed the same thing.
