Senator Jauch was first elected to the Assembly in 1982 and to the Senate in 1986. He was won a two way primary and faced Republican opposition in the general election. The Human Rights League ($21), Planned Parenthood Advocates of WI ($137) and WI Hospitals ($1,157) made independent expenditures favoring Senator Jauch. NRA Political Victory Fund ($198) and WI Right to Life ($131) made independent exenditures in favor of his opponent. WI Manufacturers and Commerce spent undisclosed amounts on "issue ads" opposing Senator Jauch. | |
