Senator Cullen was first elected to the Senate in 1974 and left in 1987 to head the Wisconsin Dept of Health and Social Services. He later served as a vice-president of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin and was elected to the Senate again in 2010. He was unopposed in the primary and faced Republican opposition in the general election. Advancing Wisconsin Inc. ($25,528) made independent expenditures favoring Senator Cullen. Wisconsin Right to Life PAC ($72) made independent expenditures supporting his opponent. |
