Attorney General Van Hollen was first elected in 2006. He was unopposed in the primary and faced Democratic opposition in the general election. Koch Industries, Inc. ($70), New Prosperity Foundation ($17,000), Northwoods Patriot Group Inc. ($71), NRA Political Victory Fund ($780), Wisconsin Professioinal Police Association ($20,000) and Wisconsin Right to Life PAC ($72) made independent expenditures favoring Attorney General Van Hollen. Fair Wisconsin PAC ($20) and Voces de la Frontera Action Committee ($285) made independent expenditures in support of his opponent. |
