Senator Wanggaard was first elected to the Senate in 2010. He won a two-way primary and defeated the Democratic incumbent in the general election. Wisconsin Right to Life PAC ($72) made independent expenditures favoring Senator Wanggaard. Advancing Wisconsin Inc. ($80,368), Building a Stronger Wisconsin PAC ($9,099), Citizen Action of Wisconsin Inc. ($4,917), Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin Inc. ($4,957), Voces de la Frontera Action Committee ($855) and WEAC PAC ($424,916) made independent expenditures supporting his opponent. Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce spent undisclosed sums on "issue ads" supporting Senator Wanggaard. |
