This is an independent expenditure committee used by Citizen Action of Wisconsin to pay for electioneering activities to support Democratic candidates in legislative and statewide elections. The organization is a coalition of labor, environment, senior citizen and other groups. Between 2010 and 2016, the group spent more than $235,000 on independent expenditures.
Shortly before the Nov. 6 elections, the group reported independent expenditures towards staff costs to support Democrat Tony Evers, who defeated incumbent GOP Gov. Scott Walker.
