This is a group represented by a Washington D.C. attorney that is sponsoring issue ads in support of Republican Attorney General candidate Brad Schimel who faced Democrat Susan Happ in the November 4th general elections. The group spent $184,970 at four Green Bay area television stations to air a 30-second ad about a week before the elections that said Schimel would sue the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency if the Obama administration implements stricter new air pollution regulations.
Little else is known about this group because issue ad organizations do not have to disclose information about themselves or their fundraising and spending activities with state or federal authorities. The Rule of Law Project has not been involved in previous Wisconsin elections.
