2018 Campaign Finance Profile - Andre Jacque

Senator Jacque was first elected to the Assembly in 2010. Before his election to the Senate in fall 2018, he unsuccessfully ran for his current seat in a June 2018 special election against his November opponent.

He won a two-way primary and defeated the Democratic incumbent in the general election.

American Federation for Children Action Fund IE Committee Inc ($112,441), American Majority Action ($11,758), Americans for Prosperity IE Committee ($29,938), Wisconsin Right to Life PAC ($5,039) and WMC Jobs Fund ($452,510) made independent expenditures favoring Senator Jacque.

AFT-Wisconsin ($40), For Our Future ($17,785), Greater Wisconsin Political Independent Expenditure Fund ($286,419), High Ground Political Fund ($146,667), Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin - C4 ($26,000), Progressive Takeover Independent Expenditure Committee ($46,197), Wisconsin Conservation Voters Independent Expenditure Committee ($300,829), Wisconsin First Political Fund ($25,000) and Wisconsin Leadership Committee ($43,854) supported his opponent.

Republican State Leadership Committee (estimated $400,000), Wisconsin Alliance for Reform (estimated $80,000) and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (estimated $600,000) spent undisclosed sums on "issue ads" supporting Senator Jacque. Greater Wisconsin Committee (estimated $750,000) favored his opponent.
